"The life and death of Matthew Shepard changed the way we talk about, and deal with, hate in America. Since his death, Matt’s legacy has challenged and inspired millions of individuals to erase hate in all its forms. Although Matt’s life was short, his story continues to have a great impact on young and old alike. His legacy lives on in thousands of people who actively fight to replace hate with understanding, compassion, and acceptance."

The Equality Bracelet is a sparklingly prismatic statement piece that calls us all to action against inequality.  Tragically, Matthew Shepard's life was cut far too short by those whose bigotry and hatred robbed him of a future.

The Matthew Shepard Foundation exists to fight hate crimes agains the LGBTQ community and to strengthen American hate crime laws.  Their mission is also to raise awareness of violence against LGBTQ individuals, as well as to educate elementary and secondary school-aged children about diversity, as well as to encourage parents of youth to love, value, and support their children unconditionally.

WorldFinds donates 15% of the wholesale price of these bracelets to the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Donations are made based on how many they purchase from their artisans, not product sales.
